British rock band Arctic Monkeys were confirmed this Tuesday for the NOS Stage on July 7, 2023 of NOS Alive, which will take place July 6-8 at Passeio Marítimos de Algés in Oeiras, Lisbon.
At the festival, which celebrates its 15th edition in 2023, “the Sheffield band comes to present its latest work ‘The Car’ (2022)”, read a statement to which Notícias ao Minuto had access.
The Arctic Monkeys have won ‘Best British Group’ and ‘British Album Of The Year’ at the BRIT Awards three times, having accumulated seven BRIT awards out of nine nominations since their debut album.
In addition to these achievements, they have also been awarded an ‘Ivor Novello’, a ‘Mercury Music Prize’, 20 ‘NME’ awards, five ‘Q’ awards and six ‘Grammy’ nominations.
NOS Alive organisers had already announced on Monday that US band the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform on the NOS stage of the festival on July 6 next year.
Tickets for the event, which will take place at Passeio Marítimo de Algés between July 5 and 8, are already on sale.
Angel Olsen, IDLES, Lizzo, Men I Trust, Sam Smith, Sylvan Esso, Tash Sultana and The Black Keys are also confirmed on the line-up.
